Welcome to SC Sheri! What are you most looking forward to in this production?
What excites me most about Aunt Eller? Perhaps it is shooting a pistol to stop a fight. Or Playing a character who always says exactly what she is thinking. It's incredibly liberating to play someone so at home in their own skin.
How’s the dialect coming? Have you had to do accents for other shows?
I hope the dialect is coming along. The harder part is speaking and singing in my lower register to sound a bit more tough and ornery.
What do you do when you’re not preparing for a show?
When I'm not rehearsing, I teach drama at Brookswood Secondary in Langley. I also hang out with my friends. We make videos, dress up like Marie Anotinette or Jane Austen characters. You know, stuff that most people do? Right?
